Description:
One of the 13 towns of Sugamuxi's province.
Town's full size= 70 km2 (a bit bigger than San Marino -Italy-).
Main economic activities: Agriculture, animal husbandry, tourism and crafts.

Located just a few kilometers from Sogamoso, with frequent local transport.

Monguí's square

Lovely tiny town, land of religiosity, ball manufacturers, páramos and well kept architecture. You'll love it!, no doubt.

How to get here:
By bus: From Sogamoso's bus terminal, nearly every half an hour. Get a bus stop also at Iwoka's shopping centre, north of Sogamoso.
By car: Follow the route1 Sogamoso - Colegio Gustavo Jiménez - Argos - Monguí; or route2 Sogamoso - Morcá - Monguí.

Main atractions:

• The town itself, is worth visiting it. Its cathedral, streets, the Calicanto Bridge, and local architecture.
  
• Páramo de Ocetá, considered "the most beautiful páramo of the world".
• Ball manufacturer shops, Monguí is renowned and famous for it.
